Super Shaggy Brawl II is basically Super Smash Brothers - Melee, without Side-B's, and only having one Aerial Attack. It has it's own try-hard mechanics, and a strong (and largely growing) fanbase. The character\stage rosters includes that of my friends, meme characters, and some guests (like characters from other franchises that I do NOT own the rights to, and streamers\Youtubers that I like), since it wasn't even meant to be released to the public at that time!

Warning: Contains Teenage Humor

Super Shaggy Brawl II was started around November 24th 2018, and released on July 29th, 2019. This version of Super Shaggy Brawl II is optimized for mobile players, and the quality of sounds, music, and images were reduced in order to comply with Itch.io's rules for Unity WebGL games. This is done to increase the chances of the game working on your device, and browser, much like Super Smash Flash 2.

The Demo turns on touch controls by default but this can be reset once you get to the options menu (through either the main menu or pause menu).

For the game to build to WebGL XInputDotNet had to be removed, so controllers may not show as detected but still work.

Updated on 09-22-19 at 9:41:33 PM to use less RAM and work better on Mobile devices (1.5 GB required at minimum)

Super Shaggy Brawl II is fast paced, memey, balanced, simple, and diverse (from real people, to movie characters, to ideas and jokes represented in a physical body, to just sheer memes). It has a group chat that keeps putting new ideas into the game, and people that want themselves in the game, one real developer that hard-codes and sets up everything, and is all around a gameplay experience truly forgotten after the release of Super Smash Brothers Melee.

The game holds true to the idea that, "A game that allows you to break it is a fun one", and using quirks in the engine or programming as a feature rather than patching it (as was "Rocket Jumping" in Quake III Arena, which became something many other games copied, but never got quite right). Super Shaggy Brawl II is definitely worth the time to try out, as everything was thought of before hand, no circumstance was dismissed, and ideas from the community it built up were implemented.

The game accounts for those just starting out, who may not even know about the Super Smash Brothers franchise and out to play, but also for those who are really "try-hard" fans of the series. The game adds it's own mechanics into an already world renowned idea. Players can start with a tutorial, and go to training mode to hone their skills or get a feel for this incredibly addicting game. The game talks to the player as though the creator was right there with them. Encouraging them to learn on their own, at their own pace, by playing around and getting the overall sense and feel of the mechanics, even getting to know the developer, Shaggy39. The game stays true to Super Smash Brothers, where some characters may be stronger than others, but remains balanced at the same time, because what one character has, it lacks in something another has. Any player can pick the worst ranked character and still dominate those on the very high-end of the ranking... and that's what Super Shaggy Brawl II is all about.
